What's new with us? As usual, ALOT!!
CHARITY EFFORTSBeing women entrepeneurs who have found success, we realize that we are blessed. In 2007, we chose to support Kiva.org. Kiva is a non profit organization which lends money to unique entrepreneurs in the developing world. We have decided to "sponsor a business" and help the world's working poor make great strides towards economic independence. Please learn more about this wonderful organization:
www.kiva.orgWhen we aren't busy designing the latest and greatest, you'll probably find us running around with our teenage daughters! We both have (2) daughters. As mothers, we are constantly aware and worried about the pressures and circumstances our daughters face every day. Last month, we will be participating in Merricks Walk. This annual event is a 2.6 mile walk to remember the life of 19-year old Galloway alum named Merrick Ryan who died of anorexia in January 2000. We will be walking with our daughters Amanda, Christina, Emory and Riley to raise awareness for this terrible disease.

BACK TO BUSINESSThis month, we attended the International Window Coverings Convention which was held in Atlanta this year at the Georgia World Congress Center. This was a great week for us to fine tune our business skills thru a series of seminars, network with other designers, and meet new contractors and vendors who sell products that make our work even more exciting! To learn more about where we were, just go to:

You'll see that you are like thousands of women across the world that have the desire to start their own businesses and create a lifestyle that is fun, creative, and meaningful.
We are proud to be a featured contributor in this book. For more info go to:

We are currently sweating the details of a hotel under construction in Woodstock, GA. We were thrilled to be awarded the design responsibilities for the common areas (main entry, lobby, kitchen area and restrooms). Look for photos on the website in May!
While we say that we are predominantly residential designers, we keep getting calls to design commercial spaces (which we love by the way)! We are having a lot of fun designing for the "male" perspective in a large electrical contractors office. This job will be complete in June so keep checking back at our portfolio page!
