As featured in Atlanta Magazine, this full first floor gut and renovate was a team effort between the client, us, the architect and general contractor. This was a typical suburban Atlanta home that was completely modernized and made fabulous with a chef’s kitchen that opens out (via retractable doors) to a large screen porch complete with two full-size bed swings and heaters hidden in the ceiling. A linear fireplace was installed above a floating concrete hearth in the family room. The prior living room (that wasn’t being used) was redesigned to be a “Zoom Room” for any and all family members working from home. The prior dining room was redesigned to become an extra large mud room/laundry room complete with a murphy door to keep the dogs contained when necessary.
