5 of the Best Do It Yourself Ways to Repurpose a TV Armoire!

The beginning of a new year always puts me in organizing mode and I'm always looking for new and better ways to create storage.  Do you own an outdated TV armoire or media cabinet?  They have become pretty much obsolete with the invention of the flat screen TV.    Look at some interesting ways I found to repurpose them and create storage:

1.  Cocktail Bar

I love the use of the chalkboard when the door is open - a fun way to announce "happy hour"!

I always like a restored antique piece.   Notice the investment made to add a sink!  This is quite a conversation piece.

 2.  Craft/project workstation

What a smart use of space.  Everything is neatly labelled and organized.

This is just plain sweet!!  The wallpaper on the back makes it a cozy space.  You would probably be very productive since everything appears to be at your fingertips.

3.  Pantry

Who doesn't need more pantry space?

4.  Mini Office/Desk

This is a great idea for a small space.  If you're not a neat freak, no worries, you can shut the doors and no one will know what lurks behind.  Once again, the use of wallpaper really gives this personality!

5.  Kid's Activity Center

Organize games and crafts along with a nice way to display artwork.

Even if you don't have one of these armoires lying around, you can find them all over consignment and second hand stores.   I would love to hear what other ideas you have for these armoires.  Please share with our readers in the comment section!!
