Atlanta Food & Wine Festival 2015

If you missed the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival at ADAC last weekend, have no fear - here's the scoop!

Saturday's event, called Rathbun's Watch List was a sold out event! Created by Chefs Kent Rathbun (from Texas) and his brother Kevin Rathbun (from Georgia), Rathbuns' Watch List was created to introduce food and beverage lovers to Southern chefs and beverage professionals who are making their mark on the Southern culinary industry. Through a partnership with ADAC (Atlanta Decorative Arts Center), the Rathbun brothers expanded the event to also showcase Southern design professionals who designed the spaces for each chef and mixologist.

This is where we come in!! We were honored to be approached by the ADAC team to be one of 10 designers creating beautiful 10'x10' vignettes that we would share with our chef or mixologist partner.

Our space was in the very front of the event. Oh boy the pressure! I think we stepped up to the plate pretty darn well:)

The inspiration for our space was this Anna French hot pink flocked wallpaper by Thibaut.

In our event space, we were paired with mixologists Eric Bennett from Carrigan's Public House in AL and Gui Jaroschy from The Broken Shaker in Miami, FL. instead of a chef. Some matches are made in heaven as they say...

(P.S. The incredible original art of the iconic King and Queen buildings in downtown Atlanta set off by hot pink fireworks was painted specifically for this event by our friend and artist Jay Scott.)

Besides our Thibaut wallpaper and our Jay Scott original art, we were blessed to have another talented friend, Greg Fleming, create this orchid arrangement for us.
